Description

Graviera is the most popular Cretan Cheese and it is made from a mixture of goat’s and sheep’s milk.

 

It is a hard yellow table cheese with asymmetric holes, a natural crust and a tantalizing, delicate semi sweet and salty taste.

 

Its excellent quality and high nutritional value, its traditional method of preparation, the pure materials used and its great taste, are the main reasons that the Cretan Graviera is present at most all meals of the average Cretan family.

 

Temperature controlled transport and storage is required. Shelf life is 18 months.
